Nigerian Dwarf Goats

Nigerian Dwarf goats are one of the friendliest goat breeds and come in various colors. They make great pets and are known for their excellent milk production. These goats only stand about 17-20 inches tall when fully grown due to their dwarf nature. At Bittersweet Barn, we register breeding-quality goats through the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA). Our kids can be purchased with or without registration. As a performance herd, our does currently participate in DHIA milk testing, and we hope to take part in Linear Appraisal in the near future. We uphold rigorous biosecurity measures and conduct annual testing of our goats for CAE and Johne's disease. The most recent testing was performed in June 2025.

All kids sold from our farm will have their first CDT vaccination at 8 weeks of age. Kids are given coccidia prevention every 3 weeks. All horned kids are disbudded unless otherwise directed by the buyer. A deposit must be made in order to keep a kid horned. Bucklings can be wethered at 10-12 weeks old upon request.
